Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using The Aether Engine. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
By accessing or using The Aether Engine website at theaetherengine.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
The Aether Engine is an AI-powered role-playing game platform providing persistent AI-driven game worlds, multi-agent architecture for living environments, scheduled world events and NPC memory systems, and subscription-based access. During pre-launch, the Service consists of waitlist registration and community access.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental permission. By using the Service, you represent these requirements are met.
When accounts launch, you agree to provide accurate information, maintain account security, accept responsibility for all account activity, and notify us of unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Joining the waitlist provides your email for launch updates. Waitlist registration does not guarantee platform access or specific features. We grant or deny early access at our sole discretion.
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. You authorize recurring charges to your payment method. Prices may change with 30 days notice. Refunds are handled case-by-case. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and display it to provide the Service. AI-generated content is provided for personal use within the Service.
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the Service, scrape data without permission, use automated bots, resell access, or interfere with Service integrity.
The Aether Engine name, logo, brand assets, website design, and underlying technology are the exclusive property of The Aether Engine and its licensors. Nothing grants you rights to use our trademarks.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE AETHER ENGINE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR AMOUNTS PAID IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Disputes shall be resolved in Wyoming courts.
