Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We keep it simple and honest.
The Aether Engine operates theaetherengine.com and the associated AI RPG platform. Contact us at theaetherengine.dev@gmail.com for privacy matters.
We collect: email addresses (waitlist signup), account credentials when accounts launch, payment information processed by third-party providers, game content created on the platform, and automatically collected data including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited.
We use your information to operate and improve the Service, communicate launch updates and product news, personalize your game experience, process payments securely, detect and prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
We share data only with: Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, security), Web3Forms (waitlist processing), and Stripe (future payment processing). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. EEA/UK users have additional GDPR rights including data portability and the right to object to processing. California users have CCPA rights including the right to know and opt out of data sale (we do not sell data).
We implement HTTPS encryption, Cloudflare DDoS protection, secure password hashing, and access controls. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure.
We use essential cookies for functionality and anonymized analytics cookies to improve our service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe. Account data is retained while active and for 90 days after deletion. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days.
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the effective date and emailing registered users where appropriate.
